Where theory meets thrust. The Department of Applied Aerodynamics studies lift, drag, and the noble art of the controlled release. Undergraduates begin with wind tunnels and graduate to wind in tunnels.

The department maintains the university’s only laboratory rated for both Mach speeds and moral ambiguity.
