Commencement
Commencement: Caps to the Wind
Each spring, the graduating class hurls its caps skyward in a tradition known as Caps to the Wind — a moment of triumph helpfully assisted by the campus’s reliable updraft. Some caps have not yet come down.
The ceremony concludes with the alma mater, sung downwind out of respect for the brass section.
Fast FactClass of 2026. First class. Possibly last.
